So I was just browsing through my hard drive and I stumbled a few old photos. The first thought I had was on how different I looked - thinner, happier, calmer and prettier. The reaction I had from that thought was a few tears.
I also realized how I took a lot of selfies and OOTDs of myself and I remember that I didn't have a lot of self-confidence back then.
This made me think.
2018 was a year of growth in the adult department. 2015 was jolly student Bat living in the moment.
2018 was wiser, humbler and still low self-esteem Bat. Also the fattest version. Due to this, I've lost all my confidence that I didn't know I had before. I have very little photos of my OOTDs and selfies because I never felt pretty enough. My commitment was energized more to my job and I've only realized this.
Well, 2019 will be different, I'm sure. I'm determined to lose weight, read and write more, and gain back my confidence. Which are resolutions that I make every year. Only this time, I'll make sure to reach these goals.
2019 will be the year where I learn all about long-term goals because I've been so used to short ones.
Good luck, new me.
B
